sir cheng

A great friend, a renowned mover of mountains and an outstanding jeopardiser of grand plans.

That's right, folks, that's Cheng Jian Wei Matthew for you. Born on the 10th of July in the year 1992, what was once an innocent young baby soon evolved into a charming thin bespectacled sleeper/whiner. He never fails to pounce at every single opportunity to send himself off on a seemingly never-ending "rest" - be it from 7pm to 11pm, 5pm to 3am or even 3am to 4pm!

Every cloud has a silver lining. In Sir Cheng's case, his cloud is actually a dark cloud painted white. As the saying goes, "behind every pro skilz dota player lies a crooked self within". Being the pro skilz dota player that Jian Wei is, he naturally has an evil side to him - he's a jeopardiser.

But why do I say so? More than often, our grand schemes and grand plans were always on the brink of being hatched when The Jeopardiser (i.e. see title of this post) would come out with excuses to avoid hatching the plan or scheme. Trust me, I have been on the receiving end of his Jeopardising countless times already and I have learnt a few tricks of the trade from the master himself. These include the quotes below:

"Aiya, just go home la......" *insert a sly glint in your eye*
"Why... Why must? Tell me why!" *pretend to be inquisitive*
"Don't want, I want to go home and sleep" *insert gay smile*
"Walao... I'm supposed to be sick leh!" *pretends to be sick and fails*
"Oi! Raining leh!"

Today, on this splendid day, we originally planned to study for Chemistry together after a good game of football. But no.... The Jeopardiser just HAS to saunter along with his bagpack, complain about the rain, about the lack of people playing football (when I point out that there are alot of people, he complains about there being only Sec 1s and 2s) and of course, about the PSP running out of battery when HE'S THE ONE WHO MADE IT RUN OUT OF BATTERY. Naturally, when I point that out, Sir Cheng (being the top-notch philosopher that he always was) reasoned that it was my fault that I didn't bring a charger. I had to agree with that.

As such, nothing was achieved today. No football, no studying. Just when I was finally settling down to study FOR ONCE, my plans for the day have been JEOPARDISED.

What's new?

Oh no man, Matthew, disappointment sia...
